Lovable site migration
Your Lovable site looks great. Search engines can barely see it.
Lovable makes a good-looking site fast, but it builds it as an app: your words only appear after code runs in the visitor's browser. Many search engines and AI assistants never run that code, so they see an almost empty page. I rebuild your site on Redline as plain, fast pages that look the same, with your words right there for Google and ChatGPT to read. Enter your address to see what your move would involve.
Typical level
Move + some custom work, including sites where people sign in. Big sites are a redesign and move.
Typical price
$2,800–4,000 for most Lovable sites, $4,000–6,000 for big ones. Hosting and care is $150 a month.
Time
Usually 2–3 weeks. Your Lovable site stays live until the new one is ready.
After the move
Edit your pages yourself in a simple editor, no prompts needed, or let me: an hour of edits a month is included.
Why Lovable sites are hard to find
Lovable builds your site with React, a tool for web apps. When anyone asks for one of your pages, your server sends back a title, a script and an empty box. The visitor's browser then runs the script, and the script draws your words and pictures into the box. People never notice. Search engines and AI assistants do:
- AI assistants often see nothing. The tools that ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity use to read the web mostly don't run scripts, so they find an empty page and have nothing to quote or recommend. When I built the same site six ways, the React, Vue and Angular versions showed these tools one generic title and none of the content, on every page.
- Google is slow to see it. Google can run the script, but it does that later and not always, so new pages and changes can take a long time to show up.
- Every page can look the same. Unless it was set up page by page, each address shares one title and description, so link previews and search results don't match the page.
- Missing pages look real. Addresses that don't exist often still load the app instead of a proper "not found", which search engines treat as duplicate pages.
- The page list is often wrong or missing. I've seen Lovable sites whose instructions for search engines still pointed at lovable.dev's own page list instead of the site's.
The free check above tells you whether your pages are drawn by code. On Redline every page is sent complete: its own title, description and words, readable by anything that visits.
What moves over
Comes over
- Every page, with your words and images.
- Your design: same layout, colors and fonts, rebuilt as plain pages.
- Contact and sign-up forms, set up again in Redline.
- Your domain, and every page address you have now.
- Search titles and descriptions, written for each page.
- Logins and free members-only pages: Redline supports sign-in and different access levels.
Needs a closer look
- Pages behind a login, and who is allowed to see each one.
- Data saved in Supabase beyond simple form entries.
- Dashboards, calculators or tools people use on the site.
- Payments, paid memberships and online stores, which aren't covered yet.
I can't see pages behind a login from outside, so for sites with logins I work with whoever built your site to list every one and who can see it. Each is tested before we switch over.
How the move works
- Check your siteEnter your address above. You'll see the level, and I'll reply with a fixed price.
- I rebuild itI copy your words, images and design into Redline pages. You don't need to export anything from Lovable.
- You review itYou see the new site before anything changes, and I test that every old address still works.
- We switch overI point your domain at the new site. Your Lovable project stays yours, untouched.
If you ever leave, here's what you take with you
Your website
As standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript files that any web host can run.
Your data
If your site keeps records such as members, bookings or form entries, you get a complete copy in a format other tools can read.
Your code
Anything built just for your business is yours. I don't own it and I won't keep it.
Your domain
It was always yours, and it goes wherever you go.
The Redline engine stays with me. Everything else goes with you. Your files, data and code are always handed over free. If you'd like help setting them up somewhere else, that's billed at my normal rate.
Questions about moving from Lovable
Why isn't my Lovable site showing up in Google?
Lovable builds sites as React apps, so each page arrives almost empty and the words are drawn by code in the browser. Google can run that code, but later and not always, and pages often share one title and description. Rebuilding the site as plain pages, with each page's words and search details sent complete, fixes that.
Can ChatGPT and other AI assistants read my Lovable site?
Often not. The tools that ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity use to read websites mostly don't run scripts, so a Lovable page can look empty to them. On Redline every page is plain HTML with your words right there, so AI assistants can read, quote and recommend it.
Will my site look the same after the move?
Yes. I rebuild the same layout, colors, fonts and images as plain pages. If there's something you've wanted to change, tell me and I'll include it in the quote.
How much does it cost to move a Lovable site?
Most Lovable sites are $2,800–4,000 and take 2–3 weeks. Big sites, or ones with several tools to rebuild, are $4,000–6,000. Hosting and care is $150 a month, or $1,500 a year, with an hour of edits a month included. The free check on this page shows your site's level.
What happens to my Supabase data and forms?
Contact and sign-up forms are set up again in Redline, and their messages come to your email. If your site keeps other data in Supabase, such as bookings or saved records, that needs a closer look, and I'll tell you honestly whether it fits.
Can my site keep its logins and members-only pages?
Yes. Redline supports sign-in and different access levels for different people. Because pages behind a login can't be seen from outside, I work with whoever built your site to map every one of them and who should see it, then test each before we switch over. Paid memberships, where people pay for access, aren't covered yet.
Can I edit my site without Lovable?
Yes. Redline has a simple editor for your pages, posts, photos, menus and search titles, with no prompts or code. Or send me the change: an hour of edits a month is included in hosting and care.
Will my domain and links stay the same?
Yes. Your domain stays yours, and every page address you have now keeps working. I test each one before we switch over.
Who's behind this
I'm Brad Simon, and Coder B Dev is my one-person studio. I've been writing software for more than 30 years: enterprise systems, web applications and SaaS platforms, for companies from startups to large enterprises. Redline is the platform I built so small business sites can get that same engineering without the upkeep. I take on a small number of sites at a time, so each one gets my full attention.
I'd rather you stay because you want to. I've seen too many business owners stuck with a platform because leaving meant losing their site. I don't work that way. Your words, images and data are yours, and so is any code written for your business: I don't claim any rights to it. If you ever decide to move on, I'll hand you your site as standard files, a full copy of your data and all of your own code, with no runaround. The only thing I keep is the Redline engine itself.
