Website migration service

Move your website somewhere faster, safer and simpler.

I move websites from WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and most other platforms to Redline: fast, secure sites with nothing to update, where every old link keeps working and you still edit your own pages. Enter your website address to see what your move would involve. It's free and takes under a minute.

I look at your public pages and page list, the same way a visitor would. Nothing is saved unless you ask for a quote.

Fast and hard to hack

No plugins to patch and no login page for bots to attack. Pages load fast because nothing extra runs behind them.

Easier to find

Plain, fast pages are easy for Google and AI assistants to read. Sites usually score noticeably better in search after the move.

Every link keeps working

Your old page addresses still work after the move. I test every one before launch, and you get the list.

You still edit it

Change pages, posts, photos, menus and search titles yourself in a simple editor, or let me do it: an hour of edits a month is included.

How it works

  1. Check your site. Free, under a minute.
  2. Get a fixed quote. I reply personally with a price.
  3. I move it. 1–4 weeks, depending on the site. Every old link is tested before launch, and your pages become plain, fast HTML that search engines read easily.
  4. You keep editing. Hosting and care is $150 a month, all included.

Pricing

Quick move

$1,800 – 2,800

About 1–2 weeks

Plain sites. Your pages come over almost as they are.

Move + some custom work

$2,800 – 4,000

About 2–3 weeks

Most of it moves as is; parts like forms or booking are set up again.

Redesign and move

$4,000 – 6,000

2–4 weeks

Your words and images come over, and the design is rebuilt because it can't be copied out of your current builder.

Hosting and care

$150 / month

or $1,500 a year: two months free

Hosting on my servers, security updates and upkeep, and up to an hour of edits a month.

The top of each range is for larger sites. Online stores, paid memberships and courses aren't covered yet.

If you ever leave, here's what you take with you

Your website

As standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript files that any web host can run.

Your data

If your site keeps records such as members, bookings or form entries, you get a complete copy in a format other tools can read.

Your code

Anything built just for your business is yours. I don't own it and I won't keep it.

Your domain

It was always yours, and it goes wherever you go.

The Redline engine stays with me. Everything else goes with you. Your files, data and code are always handed over free. If you'd like help setting them up somewhere else, that's billed at my normal rate.

On WordPress? Get an exact answer from your export

Your WordPress export shows what a quick check can't: drafts, menus, and how much was built with a page builder.

Your export never leaves your browser. It's analyzed on this page, in memory, and discarded when you close the tab. Nothing is uploaded.

1. Export your site from WordPress

  1. In your WordPress admin, open Tools → Export.
  2. Choose All content.
  3. Click Download Export File. You'll get one .xml file.

2. Drop it here

Optional: paste your Plugins page for a complete plugin list

The export doesn't list installed plugins. In your admin, open Plugins, select the whole page (Ctrl+A / ⌘A), copy it, and paste it here. A plain list of plugin names, one per line, works too.

Questions people ask

How much does it cost to move my website?

Most moves cost $1,800 to $6,000, depending on the site: $1,800–2,800 for a quick move of a plain site, $2,800–4,000 when parts like forms or booking need setting up again, and $4,000–6,000 when the design has to be rebuilt. Hosting and care is $150 a month, or $1,500 a year. Check your address above for your site's level.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

No. Every old page address keeps working, and I test each one before launch. Plain, fast pages usually score better in search after the move: an old WordPress site I moved went from 62 to 91 out of 100 on a search and AI-search audit, with no extra tuning.

Do my links change?

No. Your existing page addresses stay the same, or redirect to the new page where a change can't be avoided. I test every one before launch, and you get the list.

Can I keep my domain?

Yes. Your domain stays yours; it's pointed at the new site when it's ready.

How long does a website migration take?

About 1–2 weeks for a quick move, 2–3 weeks when some parts need custom work, and 2–4 weeks when the design is rebuilt.

Do I own my site?

Yes. Your words, images and data are yours, and so is any code written for your business. If you ever move on, you get your site as standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript files, a complete copy of your data in a format other tools can read, and all of your own code. Only the Redline engine that runs it stays with me.

Why isn't my React, Lovable or other JavaScript site showing up in Google?

Pages drawn by code in the browser look almost empty to search engines and AI assistants until that code runs, and many never run it. Rebuilding them as plain HTML pages puts your words right in the page, which is why these sites usually see the biggest search gains after a move. When I built the same site six ways, the React, Vue and Angular versions showed search and AI crawlers one generic title and none of the content.

Can you move a PHP, React, Next.js, Angular or Vue site?

Yes. Hand-coded sites are turned into plain, fast HTML pages with the same words and look, so there's no framework or server code left to keep updated. Small PHP sites move well; a large custom PHP application is looked at case by case.

What is Redline?

Redline is the platform I built for small business websites. Each site runs on my servers as plain, fast pages: no plugins to patch, nothing for you to update, and a simple editor for your pages, posts, photos and menus.

Who's behind this

I'm Brad Simon, and Coder B Dev is my one-person studio. I've been writing software for more than 30 years: enterprise systems, web applications and SaaS platforms, for companies from startups to large enterprises. Redline is the platform I built so small business sites can get that same engineering without the upkeep. I take on a small number of sites at a time, so each one gets my full attention.

I'd rather you stay because you want to. I've seen too many business owners stuck with a platform because leaving meant losing their site. I don't work that way. Your words, images and data are yours, and so is any code written for your business: I don't claim any rights to it. If you ever decide to move on, I'll hand you your site as standard files, a full copy of your data and all of your own code, with no runaround. The only thing I keep is the Redline engine itself.
